Chris Collins focuses his practice on corporate law, where he enjoys assisting clients of all sizes and industry types with their general corporate matters, such as general contract review, entity formation, corporate governance, and entity reorganization. In addition, Chris has significant experience with mergers and acquisitions, both in assisting clients through all phases of the process of selling their business and assisting strategic purchasers and private equity clients with acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm, Chris worked at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP in Atlanta, GA.
Chris grew up near Augusta, GA, and is excited to return to the Athens area after previously earning degrees from the Terry College of Business and the University of Georgia School of Law. Between undergraduate studies and attending law school, Chris worked in campus ministry at Georgia Southern University. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Katy, and their three wonderful children.
