Wade is a transactional attorney specializing in tax law, business law and estate planning. Wade has spent his entire professional career at Fortson, Bentley and Griffin. Wade was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended the Westminster Schools. While at UGA, Wade was a member of the University of Georgia’s Ballroom (Dance) Performance Group. He has lived in the Athens area since 1997 and presently resides in Maxeys, Georgia.
Wade’s hobbies (most of which exist more in theory than in reality at present) include golf and golf course architecture, piano, following UGA football and doing anything that will give his wonderful wife, Dawn, a brief respite from their four exuberant children. Wade, Dawn, Luke, Liam, Lizzy and Linus currently attend Watkinsville First Baptist Church. Wade was formerly a course rater for Golfweek Magazine and currently teaches tax law classes for the University of Georgia School of Law and for the Emory University School of Law.
