Wade A. Schueneman
WADE SCHUENEMAN is a transactional attorney specializing in tax law, business law and estate planning. Wade has spent his entire professional career at Fortson, Bentley and Griffin.
Wade earned his law degree (J.D.), magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served on the Georgia Law Review and received the John C. O’Byrne Award for Excellence in the Study of Taxation. He later earned his Master of Laws degree (L.L.M.) in Taxation from New York University’s School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Wade earned Bachelor of Science (B.S.), summa cum laude with Highest Honors, and Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees in Mathematics from the University of Georgia. Wade was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2009.
Wade was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended the Westminster Schools for thirteen years. He has lived in the Athens area since 1997. Wade and his wife, Dawn, presently reside in Maxeys, Georgia with their two young boys, Luke and Liam. Wade and his family are active at Heritage Community Church, where Wade leads the music ministry.
