David advises clients on franchising as well as general corporate matters, including choice of entity, corporate structure, and governance documents. He focuses his practice on structuring commercial transactions, involving both real and personal property, efficiently and effectively to meet clients’ goals. He has a depth of experience in representing local development authorities and works closely with new businesses to bridge the gap between public and private sectors in economic development projects.

David and his wife are active members of North Avenue Church in Athens, Georgia. He has served on the Boards of the Georgia Children’s Chorus and the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. He presently serves as a member of the Executive Board of the Northeast Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Board of Mercy Health Center in Athens, Georgia.
