Adam B. Land
ADAM LAND is an attorney in the firm’s litigation department. He advises clients in a variety of practice areas, including business and commercial litigation, plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, estate litigation, and criminal defense. He is also accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs to plan, prepare, and prosecute claims for VA benefits on behalf of Veterans.
Adam earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served on the Georgia Law Review. He has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to law school, Adam was an officer in the United States Navy. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Western Circuit Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Trial Lawyers, and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Adam and his wife, Jacqueline, are active in the Athens community. He is a 2010 graduate of LEAD Athens and currently serves on the board of directors of the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia and Rising Tides Lift All, Inc. He previously served on the board of directors of the Northeast Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Clarke County Mentor Program. Jacqueline teaches Language Arts at Athens Academy and coaches cross-country. They have three children. Away from the office, Adam enjoys spending time with his family cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, running, hiking, and taking advantage Athens’ thriving live music and food scenes.
