Elbert N. Whitmire III

ELBERT N. WHITMIRE, III was born in Athens, Georgia. He was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1979. He is a 1976 cum laude graduate of Presbyterian College, and he earned his Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Georgia in 1978. He is a 1979 cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia's School of Law. Mr. Whitmire is a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, Phi Kappa Phi, and Phi Delta Phi. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1981.

Mr. Whitmire is a member of the Western Circuit Bar Association, and he served as the Association's Secretary-Treasurer from 1987 to 1988. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Whitmire's practice areas include Corporate and Tax Law, Estate Planning, and Probate.
